Ganymede VOD Uploader is a self-hosted tool operated by its operator. It uploads Twitch stream recordings archived by Ganymede, with burned-in chat, to YouTube channels the operator has authorized and manages. Each deployment uses its own OAuth client; it is not a public multi-user application and has no public users.
This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
With the youtube.upload and youtube.readonly scopes, the tool uploads videos and reads basic metadata of the authorized channels and their videos (channel title, upload eligibility, processing status).
One OAuth refresh token per authorized channel, stored in server configuration and never logged or shared; video IDs and upload status in an operational log. No personal data of viewers or other YouTube users is collected.
Data is used only to perform and verify uploads. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or analytics.
Tokens are kept while the tool is in use and deleted when it stops or access is revoked. Logs are kept for up to 90 days. Access can be revoked at any time at Google security settings.
